DesignAxiom is looking for iOS developers, and Flash developers who are interested in making the transition to iOS development.

You should have some experience developing for iOS (Objective-C) or Flash (ActionScript 3.0) but your specific experience and education background aren’t as important as your determination to be a successful interactive developer.

In general, we take on large-scale complex projects and our clients depend on us to deliver end-to-end solutions–interaction design, development (both client and server-side), application provisioning, and even production support. Almost every project is different and each one comes with unique challenges that require everyone in the office to keep learning and get better at what they’re already good at.

This is what we’re looking for in you:

• Technical aptitude: even if you’re just learning ActionScript or Objective-C, or you’re relatively new to software development, you’ve had some success writing code (even if it’s just for yourself or at school) and you’ve decided that you are a developer.
• Desire to learn: you’re excited to come across something new and you enjoy learning.
• Desire to succeed (and the determination not to fail): the amount of work and pain between writing some code and actually delivering a commercial quality App is a lot. Not everyone is up for it. But you do what it takes.
• Ability to communicate: this isn’t about your vocabulary, spelling, or grammar. This is about dealing with other people even when it’s uncomfortable. You are an effective communicator.
